National Honor Society Inductees

The Rome Free Academy chapter of the National Honor Society recognized 62 students for induction during a virtual program Thursday, April 29th
Among eligibility standards are a cumulative grade point average of at least 89.5 or greater and those students are then eligible for consideration on the basis of leadership, service, and character, according to the school district.
The program included a virtual welcome address from Principal, Brian LeBaron, history of the National Honor Society, Maria Richie, Pillars of Honor Society, Judith Sigg, along with a candle-lighting ceremony symbolizing Scholarship (Sven van Hoesel); Service (Jonathan Denton); Character (Gianna DiMaggio); and Leadership (Julianne Furney).
